A new release of the Real Statistics Resource Pack is now available for users of Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013. This release fixes the following bugs:
Fixes a small error in the calculation of the Shapiro-Wilk W statistic (Royston method). If you have been using the SHAPIRO or SWTEST functions of the Shapiro-Wilk data analysis option of the Descriptive Statistics and Normality data analysis tool, you probably won’t notice much of a difference, but the calculation is slightly more accurate now.
The QINV function has been modified to correctly support one tail tests. It also slightly improves the function’s accuracy when df = 1 and alpha > .025 (two-tail).
The width of the main Real Statistics data analysis tools dialog box (i.e. the one that appears when you press Ctrl-m) has been narrowed. This should make it easy to address the hidden dialog box problem in Excel 2013. In that version of Excel the main dialog box has a tendency to go in front of the dialog box of the specific data analysis tool being used. When this happens all you need to do is click on the title bar of the dialog box that is partially hidden and this will bring that dialog box to the top.
