Charles,
I just want to bring your attention on the unavailability of the “Follow-up 2 factor ANOVA without replications” option in the Real Stat Analysis Tool.
I do appreciate if you can instruct me how I can get this option.
Thank,
-Sun
Sun,
If you are using a version of Real Statistics before Rel 6.0, this data analysis tool is called Follow-up Two factor ANOVA or something similar. It only supports the case of Anova with replication. Starting with Rel 6.0 there is also support for the case without replication.
Charles
Thanks! To update the version, what should I do?
Hi Sun,
Just download the new version and replace the file on your computer containing Real Statistic by the new file. That is all you need to do.
To check that you are now using the new version, enter the formula =VER(). If you don-t see the new version number then, close Excel and open it again.
Charles
Thank YOU!

Doc. Good evening, I apologize, I had not seen the option Two Factor ANOVA follow up
Doc. Buenas tardes, le ofrezco disculpas no habia visto la opción Two Factor ANOVA follow up.
Dr. Zaionithz buenas tardes, Doc, como puedo aplicar la prueba pos hoc de un ANOVA II si no parece en el menú de la plataforma Real Statistics?
Dr. Zaionithz good afternoon, Doc, how can I apply the post hoc test of an ANOVA II if it does not appear on the Real Statistics platform menu?
Why is the “Two Factor ANOVA Followup” Option not available on the Macintosh implementation? Are they somewhere else other than the ANOVA menu?
Sincere thanks for this great program. I’m trying to use it for a teaching tool, but so many students have Macs and the Mac version doesn’t seem to have all the same options as the PC version.
Susan,
The reason for the difference is that I have not been able to issue a new release for the Mac in the past year. The reason for this is that I don’t own a Mac and so I have not been able to test the software on the Mac.
I have been trying to borrow a Mac for some time now without success. I will probably need to resort to soliciting funds to buy a Mac so that I can maintain the Mac of the Real Statistics software at the same level as the Windows version.
