In other parts of the website, we review various probability distributions that play a central role in statistical analysis (including the normal, binomial, Student’s t, and chi-square distributions). On this webpage, we review a few other probability distributions, which are important and can be supported in Excel.

Hello Charles,
First of all, your website has helped trememdously with my survey analysis projects, and I am very grateful for having this tool available to use.
My question is about probability plots. I have a data that fits the lognormal distribution, but when using scatter plot to plot out the distribution, it only shows half of the plot. The plot goes up, but doesn’t come down. This might be a stupid question to ask, but I have only found histogram with normal curve option in the real statistics pack. Is there any way I can plot out other probability distributions (gamma, lognormal, etc.) using the pack?
Thank you very much.
Meng,
The plots look like those shown at https://www.real-statistics.com/normal-distribution/log-normal-distribution/
How to constrict such plots is shown on the Distributions examples workbook. You can down this file from

Charles
do we have power law distribution fitting using MLE
Sorry, but I don-t understand your question.
Charles
